3. RoHS and REACH

RoHS 2002/95/EG

We fully implement the specifications of the RoHS directive. Our products do not contain substances in concentrations exceeding the limits for forbidden materials in the EU-directive.

The RoHS directive specifies following limits:

Lead (Pb) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm
Mercury (Hg) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm
Cadmium (Cd) 0,01 % respectively 100 ppm
Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm
Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm
Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PDBE) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm
Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE) 0,1 % respectively 1000 ppm

REACH Regulation (EU) 1907/2006

From us you will only receive products that do not contain any of the substances listed by the European Chemical Agency ECHA in a concentration exceeding 0.1 mass percentages. Our plants are required to compare products and basic substances, in accordance with the requirements of the REACH Regulation with materials in the candidate list, in regular intervals. As soon as they notice that their products and base substances must be reported we will be informed, unrequested. It goes without saying that we implement this duty and will also inform you, respectively our customer. We will provide and make available a safety datasheet for products that, according to the REACH Regulation, require one, unrequested. In every respect we verify our obligation to fulfil the REACH requirements and amendments. Our products do not contain any predictable substance of high concern (SVHC) an obligation to report, within the framework of the value added chain, is not given.
